“From an early age, I have been passionate about serving others, particularly youth and families. I have worked in a variety of roles including a marriage and family therapist, youth mentor and coach, educator, and consultant. Once I experienced the profound birth of my daughter and felt the love and support from a doula, I knew this was the work I was made to do and the perfect way to fulfill my passion.

I believe that every family deserves to be surrounded by warmth and encouragement during their entire pregnancy, birth, and parenting journey. As your doula, I am committed to using my calm, nonjudgmental, and compassionate nature to provide you with continuous and unconditional support and comfort during this important time. I believe in including all persons in the birthing room so that everyone feels heard, informed, and confident. Everyone has different birth preferences and I will take the time to learn and listen to you and your partners’ values and desires.

During the birth experience, I will be present and attentive to meet those needs so that you can focus on being in tune with your body and the connection with your baby. I also believe in building collaborative relationships and open conversations with the entire birth team so that everyone understands your choices, whatever they may be.

Birthing persons have tremendous power and I will remind you of the wisdom and strength that you hold within your mind, body, and spirit. Your personal birth story is ready to be written and I would be honored to play a role in that story; in whatever pathway you choose.
