“My name is Sarah and I believe that when a baby is born, so is a mother. The postpartum season in a woman’s life is sacred and transformative. These first few weeks and months after birth are raw, full of vulnerability, and miraculous—all at the same time! My passion is to take care of mothers so they can best take care of their babies. I am currently obtaining my certification as a postpartum doula through DONA International, the world’s leader in evidence-based doula training. My postpartum doula services are varied, from helping meet tangible needs to providing up-to-date information and support, including lactation consultation. I also love capturing the magic of your newborn through photography so you can remember these special moments for a lifetime. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Health Sciences (Bradley University 2014 & Bethel University 2016) and work as a certified physician assistant in a clinic setting. My aim is to not only bring you my educational background, but to serve from my heart. As a mom of young children, I know the challenges the transition to motherhood can bring- physically, emotionally, and practically. All too common, a mother’s support network may not be readily available due to geographical distance or constrained schedules. I am excited to offer my postpartum services—to celebrate, support, and empower…as a mother is born.”
